Quartz Surfaces from Turkey
Engineered quartz slabs for kitchen countertops, vanity tops and interior surfaces, produced and fabricated in Turkey.
Engineered quartz combines crushed natural quartz with a resin binder and pigments. It gives consistent colour from slab to slab and a non-porous surface, which is why it is widely used for kitchen and bathroom countertops. Turkey has established quartz surface manufacturers and experienced countertop fabricators.
Technical considerations
- Slab sizes limit island lengths; standard and jumbo sizes are confirmed before design is fixed.
- Quartz contains resin, so it is not recommended outdoors or in direct strong sunlight.
- Hot pans can mark the surface; trivets are recommended.
- Vein direction on marble-look quartz is planned across joints like natural stone.
- Fabrication must control crystalline silica dust; we work with factories using wet cutting and extraction.

Common questions about quartz surfaces
- What is the difference between quartz and quartzite?
- Quartzite is a natural stone quarried from the ground. Quartz surfaces are engineered slabs made from crushed quartz bound with resin. Quartz gives consistent colour; quartzite gives natural variation.
- What thickness is used for quartz countertops?
- Quartz slabs are commonly produced in 12, 20 and 30 mm. 20 mm and 30 mm are typical for countertops, often with a mitred apron to create a thicker-looking edge.
- Can quartz be used for outdoor kitchens?
- It is not recommended. The resin binder can discolour under strong UV light. Porcelain or suitable natural stones are better choices outdoors.
