Quartzite from Turkey
Hard, low-absorption stones for demanding horizontal surfaces.
Quartzite combines the look of marble with much greater hardness. Availability from Turkish deposits is more limited, so sourcing is confirmed project by project.

Common questions about quartzite
- Is quartzite available from Turkey?
- Turkish quartzite deposits are more limited than marble or travertine. Availability, slab sizes and quantities are confirmed with suppliers for each project.
- How can I tell real quartzite from marble?
- Quartzite is much harder and does not etch with acid. Some stones sold as quartzite are dolomitic marbles; where it matters, simple scratch and acid tests or laboratory data are used to confirm.
